Overview
It keeps familiar Tab and inline completion habits while routing larger tasks to sandboxed Devin agents that return changes for human review. Software teams use it when they want one desktop surface for both quick edits and longer autonomous coding jobs. A free tier offers light agent quota with unlimited Tab-style completions; Pro and Max subscriptions raise agent limits and unlock stronger model options. Limitation: the free tier's light agent quota runs out fast on real backlog work, and cloud agent work still needs PR review like any contractor. The Windsurf-to-Devin transition renamed several surfaces, so older Windsurf documentation may use outdated product names.
